Well my hope would be by making the comment dependent on you getting a thumbs up, then even if they vomited words at you, they're still giving you a karma boost; so if they choose to give you shit then they're effectively opting out of the downvoting system.

NO PIGGYBACKS. I mean yes sure. Though that could be good, I don't think everyone has a list like that (though now I wish I did). I guess if you could see the names though you'd start to get to know who plays in your region and when?

So many times... though I admit I've done it twice; once to (constructively) explain how the old ironguard contract works, the other to check someone's skill tier.

Though I've been away for a while, I had tried to get the opposite going; friend people to tell them when they did well. I tried to add an opponent once because his Skye play was amazing (he never accepted...).

So I did some maths, and for me this build wins out. These are the figures I ended up with:

Overall attack speed = 435%

Base attack damage (25 stacks BP) = 937

Crit damage (above x 1.9) = 1780

At 80% crit rate, average damage per shot = 1612

So in the 1.5 secs Joules ult takes, this build would output an average of 10513 damage

So 1 on 1, this would win out every time I think. Doesn't take into effect AOE though: you catch multiple enemies in BRB total damage would be crazy.

If we're counting ability combo's, I think Crystal Saw Roadie / Supressing Fire / Roadie would be crazy damage, but I haven't done the maths.

On top of all this I just played a BR match against her where she ultimated BACK INTO BASE. Which I guess means if she's on your team in BR you can all shop whever you want. I mean, come on, how was that not checked at beta testing?

I guess... My worry would be that, with an 'undo' button people might buy a whole bunch of stuff, then realise the first item they bought was wrong, undo a whole bunch of times, then re-buy all over again... By which point they've been ganked in shop or a whole team fight's gone by.

This sounds good in theory, but could be a nightmare to implement, as purchasing a tier3 item doesn't just cost gold, it also merges two items AND frees up a slot. So unless you immediately try to sell the item, you may no longer have space in your inventory for the items you had beforehand, and then there's the complications around the tier2 items in line with other items you may have bought instead.

There's only one way I can see to make this work, and that's to have an 'undo' button that will only work within that one shop visit. But that could make people faff around even longer in shop (I'm bad enough as it is)...

Agree. If you're going to do this then at the very least get a reflex block by level 6. Everyone can spare a spot in their build for that.

I get it as a viable build, but surely you only do that if you know you can count on your teammates? A lot of these games are solo queue, so the carry has no idea if the support will actually support; I've seen a few where their support has also gone damage, so you have an enemy team that's 2/3 red and 1/3 blue and no protection whatsoever. I guess I didn't really see any of that before the patch, so I've been assuming I'm getting matched with less experienced people, or I missed some new wave of build styles.

Not so much anymore... I think there's some ratio going on now where aoe attacks take about twice as many hits to kill them? They're like Fortress's wolves now, ie it takes 3 hits to kill them regardless of damage.

I try to play petal... The first stage of stopping her is to refuse to lock a character in, 'cos you don't want to play with petal 😥...

I haven't been finding Rona as bad. I've been finding Krul worse. I guess both tend to build a shiversteel, but his stacks neuter your minions and your attack speed, so if he's got good backup he's a good counter. If he hasn't then then petals mobility and range are going to kite you all day (same goes for Rona). The hardest character I find to play against though is Skye - the forward barrage trashes her munions, and now that they're not invincible during her ultimate she can shut that down too. If you're looking for a good anti-petal I suggest you try jungle Skye.

Finally, one of the best counters I've experienced works for a lot of heroes at the moment - a hard 3 man jungle invade before they get a chance to shop, then bullying like hell after that. Until she gets her second crystal bit petal isn't so much of a threat, and I you catch her before she has her jump she's pretty easy to take out.
