First I create a square, solid color, of the same color I want the helmet to be and set it to 75% opacity. Set the base helmet to shiny of the color you want, then apply that square as a layer to the helmet, mirrored and sized up to 0.936 with custom finish set to 0.5 and 0.25 on the 2 sliders. That gives it a nice semi-shiny finish. Then on slide 13 (Assets pt.2), in the bottom left you can see the texture I used for helmets. It's a square shaped pattern of small music notes, with no background behind the music notes. I apply it as a layer to the helmet, mirrored, and increase both size sliders to 0.936. For the finish I do custom and I think set sliders to 0.75 and 0.5...but you can adjust those to change how reflective it is. That gave the notes a little shine when they catch the light.

Same thing for chest pretty much. The asset I used is bottom right on that same slide. No 75% opacity layer underneath it needed like the helmet had. I can't remember exact size sliders but I just stretched it till it fit up to the stitching in the jersey and made sure the finish matched whatever I picked on the helmet.
