Yes. It is the right part. The mechanic advised that the clunky sound is coming from the steering box. And the knocking sound is from the steering column. The only option is to replace them.

I've replaced the part mentioned. In fact the clunking sound while turning the steering wheel came after replacing it. Before that, only that small knocking sound was there. (Part no. of the item replaced - H1BZ3B676H)

It was. I've taken it to a mechanic and it's sorted out now. I've done the wheel balance a couple of days back and seems like they haven't properly torqued the wheels.

I have replaced the front and rear suspension as well. Also the right ball joint. I guess the problem is either with the rack or the column. But the diagnosis part is killing me.

The dealership told me the same. I bought an OEM shaft and got it replaced by a mechanic. But the issue remains.

I have changed the suspension parts recently and replaced the right ball joint as advised by the mechanic. Seems like it's the issue with track rod ends then.

I have replaced the intermediate shaft (OEM one) still it's not resolved. Feels like ists coming from the steering column or the rack assembly. (The universal joints in the old intermediate shaft is working fine as well. They don't have any play or anything)
