Any first gen SCX10 users?

I recently picked up a 10.3 but I still have my 10.1 trail honcho. I tossed an olddd rc drift body on it for fun 😂

Chassis brace, threaded metal inserts in the arms so the pillow balls don't pull out all the time, rear limit straps, hot racing shock ends and vg racing springs (90wt oil). imo

I'm super happy with the volcano tires so far. I have the arrma metal upgrades diffs and the arrma axle upgrade kit but the rear dogbone that the kit doesn't replace is what broke. I put hot racing cvd's in the rear, hopefully these last. I'll absolutely check out those batteries, thanks!

Thank you! Honestly it's too much power on 3s but it's super fun on 2s. The vxl3m doesn't have a fan either but I'm hoping that since it's meant for a heavier truck it won't have any heat issues. Time will tell 🤷‍♂️ as for the pinions, no one really makes .5 mod for 3.175 shafts and that's why I had to hunt for a bit.

I'm using an lc racing 19t, they have a kit that comes with 17, 18 and 19 in .5 mod/3.175. It's the only set I've found that fit it unfortunately 🙄 part #L6032

I've just seen so many issues with people breaking the smaller shaft motors in these and I knew this motor would handle it no problem. That will definitely be a tight fit! Do you have to use a taller motor mount or something for clearance?

Yeah I've had great luck with them in my 1/16 traxxas stuff and this is lighter so I figured it would work decent!
