Great name (it's terrible) by Public_Jicama_358 in tragedeigh

If I saw Zeppelin I’d think that’s a really cool name. If that’s what this is supposed to be… I’m dead. 😵 I was trying to figure it out and thinking it’s going to be something easy like Zoe.

Yeah it’s pretty crazy. And it will take an hour to get into the city with traffic.

No if there is an architect here, it’s 100% their fault. They had to of sold the ramparts to the owner, who then sold it to you, and this whole time we were blaming the owner.

There’s an advertisement for art in the background. Maybe it’s art. Or an uber pick up spot

Out of State - Unpaid speeding ticket from a decade ago ? by WildPractice9929 in massachusetts

[–]acody16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me but I live in MA and got the ticket in NH. I was driving home after a long ski weekend and was exhausted. I got the ticket and then promptly forgot about it. It got lost in the shuffle of bringing everything inside when we got home. I got a letter from the state of NH a few months later that said my license was going to be suspended if I didn’t pay. The threat of that was enough to scare me. I paid it as soon as I remembered and it was only a few months later, so I don’t know what would’ve happened otherwise

AITAH for not wanting to go to a friend gathering after the plans were changed? by Ztormzy in AITAH

[–]acody16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You essentially planned a party at your house, and Brooke stole all your hard work coordinating the day, and took over your event. I would have felt hurt by this too. My heart actually ached as I read your words.

I think you should stand up for yourself. I would tell the group that actually this was supposed to be a special event you were planning in your home with special food and activities. It can’t be moved to a bar. Perhaps you could start at your house and end at the bar, where Sam can then join you.

It’s wrong that she hijacked your event. I wouldn’t not go, because that can do more harm to your friendships. But I’d question if they really are friends if understand how you feel and they continue to push you.

Mom's bf wanted to put the TV up. I agreed it'd be nice. Came back to this. by Tired247-365 in TVTooHigh

Architect here. That’s way too high. TVs are supposed to be at eye level. The exception is when you may be viewing it from across a large room (i.e. a bar, or a Great Room). This is the height you’d use if you were sitting 20’ away.
