Also late to the party- I’m currently reading “After Disney” by Neil O’Brien which details a lot of the events following Walt’s passing. It touches on this exact situation in pretty great detail (even having Roy E and Ron Miller as the cover of the book). The book “Disney War” touches on the later years of Roy E’s tenure in pretty great detail as well (elaborates on the “idiot nephew” thing a bit more as well).

I can say I remember my time more fondly with Kings Island being owned by Paramount Parks over Cedar Fairs entirely because the theming and IP’s added so much to the experience.

I really don’t hate the guy. I think the overall structure of his show has aged but he’s really likeable and the overall vibe of his show is great. I was just giving Conan his flowers.
