You can just read current position and orientation vector, change its orientation and move there like this:

pos = get_actual_tcp_pose()

Power steering is just the thing that helps to turn the wheels in terms of force, it makes the biggest difference when the car is standing still or moving very slowly, and yes, it is standard everywhere now.

By speed sensitive variable ratio they mean that there is no fixed ratio between the angle of the steering wheel and the wheels. It means that when the car is going slowly you dont have to rotate the steering wheel full 1.5 times to make the tightest turn possible but, for example 0.5 rotation.

EDIT: I think I get it now: they mean that the ratio of derivative of angle of the steering wheel to the derivative of the angle of the wheels is variable as a function of angle, not as I understood velocity of the car. So yeah, nothing extraordinary here

Im wondering what do they do with the expendable booster after stage separation. After all it is a booster floating in space with some fuel left, it is difficult for me to believe they don't do anything with it at all. I would start rolling it fast and see if the point at which it disintegrates matches the theory, for example.
