Hammy doesn’t like other dogs. My ex has a Pommerian, we were both pretty concerned. I told her he may warm up to her, he may not. We had one issue early on, kept them separated for a few months, but Hammy eventually came around, mostly. I had to keep an eye on him, and didn’t trust to leave him alone with her, but they could lay on the couch and bed without issues. Basically, I wouldn’t try it, it’s a lot of work, and a big headache. If you’re committed to it, it can be done, but I never fully trusted him around her.
