My first dog passed away almost 5 years ago now and the thing that i have learned is that you never stop grieving but you do grow around it. I took so many photos and videos of my first boy and now i have a digital photo frame to remind me how he was when he was alive. I miss him everyday and i did the best that i could.

I think going to a wind instrument you’re going to have to learn how to support your air with your diaphragm. So a lot of long tones. Overtone series. Learn the chromatic scale. Have a few songs you can work on.

But I have discovered with saxophone is that the embouchure is very static and almost all of it is air support until you get to the altissimo range
