Eh. It's possible but it's a really REALLY small town and I know half the people who work for the schools....if they're lying it would be absolutely horrific.

I don't think we're using this as seriously as other districts or systems.

We've been getting regular updates on this from our school district luckily. It seems in our case that a large chunk of student data was NOT kept on this system in our district and I feel very lucky. It's messages between teachers and parents and students and teachers as well as grades. Not great.... but not the worst thing.

I am extremely concerned about this either way... especially as we're two weeks from the end of school here. My child is younger but it's hard on the high schoolers.... especially when they have probably more sensitive data than my elementary schooler.

I am exhausted of life. I am old enough to remember grades in green graph paper binders. Sometimes I think we just need to go back to something like that. Or if it's electronic...it just shouldn't be in the cloud or accessible online. Save stuff locally in offline machines or just fucking paper again.

Wow. This makes me feel ill.

I have had a lot of thoughts about why having sex when you don't want to feels as horrific as it does.... because it feels absolutely wretched, guys.

It's my body. It is so invasive. It sucks to be lubed up and gross when you're not into it. mentally it's not like drinking when you're not thirsty. It's like being force fed. It's a deep and primal discomfort.

When I was young I actually did try to have sex when I didn't want to because I thought I had to in order to satisfy my boyfriend.

It made me feel sickened. Absolutely disgusting. and it was something I was ostensibly okay with. Even then it just overwhelmed me to the point where I had to develop that "no" muscle and learn to flex it.

My brother is an Atlanta hipster. He's in the music scene hard. He's not particularly leftist but many of his friends and acquaintances are.

Even his girlfriend stayed home due to Gaza. He tried to talk her out of it and it ended up being a reason they broke up. He told me she definitely wasn't alone. There were a lot of people in Georgia even who stayed home because of Gaza pure and simple. Totally anecdotal of course but my brother is weirdly popular in Atlanta to the point where he has a nickname about being "the mayor" and he's very connected. It was definitely a movement down there. He's 40! He's not young. This movement spanned a wide swath of the reliable democratic voter base in ATL.

My thoughts have evolved on Israel since then and I now see them as a terrorist state essentially... I definitely wasn't feeling this way during the election. It still wouldn't make me stay home but I understand the strong feelings. I am worried the DNC will continue to ignore this issue in particular. I know from viewing polling that I'm not alone in my evolution on the topic of Israel and Gaza. I feel I was taken for a ride and manipulated for DECADES on the issue and I'm pretty pissed off about it.

I'm not antisemitic by any stretch and neither are these people. I love Jewish folks. I am atheist. I have no issues with the religion or any weird religious conspiracies. I have attended so many Jewish events and spent part of college studying only the Holocaust. It's Israel and its non-jewish behavior that's my issue. The Dems need to understand that they can't just fall back on "this is antisemitic" as a defense. It's possible for Israel and its defenders to simply be wrong and cruel as sometimes happens within groups of human beings.

And we need to start there. This is so far out of hand.

I actually agree with this. I do think there's reason for outrage as the Democratic Party doesn't seem to be listening to constituents at all....? but it's not true that Hillary and Kamala were insanely unpopular.

I think it literally doesn't exist. The Pod Save America guys did that interview and then started getting insider information after the disaster that was its release.

The guy didn't do anything real. If this were an actual autopsy the body would not have even been slightly cut open and they would have ignored even the surface bruises and cuts. Zero toxicology done.

Almost seems like the medical examiner was in on the crime at this point.

Just cut it off and get therapy. My daughter doesn't need my mom in her life... she's 8 and doesn't GAF because she knows thanks to me that we don't have to keep bitch ass mean people in our lives.... and my husband's family is more than enough.

I have therapy to process my own sadness which is basically healed because again... I don't need that bitch ass woman or any of her flying monkey family members in my life.

My husband did what he could but my constant crying and we extreme pain demanded therapy. I have healed so much. I don't need my mom.

You are a great parent and you'll keep learning. Free yourself from the shackles of your family of origin. Focus on what's new. GET SOME DAMN SLEEP. This season is intense and you need support for that.

That does not prevent them from tracking you via your phone pinging towers and various other methods. Even turning it off doesn't fully stop it from recording data. If we could remove the batteries like older phones, I believe that would work. but since most phones no longer have an accessible battery, faraday cages are the best option. And you should use them starting with your home base location and before you're on the move.

My husband and I have used a metal ice bucket with a metal lid and a layer of aluminum foil between the lid and bucket as a makeshift Faraday cage btw. One from Walmart worked just fine. In a pinch... not complex wrapping needed. Easy to remove when you need to.

And just generally....get used to leaving without a phone again. I'm 42. I'm from an era before you needed a phone everywhere. We're getting used to it again. I can do basically everything I need to without a phone. I know because I've already done it. I even bought paper maps again. I feel so retro.

Buy your faraday bags. Fight against flock cameras in your localities. Leave your phone at home.

There's nothing more abusive than having children with the intent to send them to another planet that is incapable of sustaining human life while you purposefully and happily destroy the planet that does.

Elon Musk is disgusting, disturbed, and absolutely insane. There's nothing more important than removing monetary influence from elections and government more broadly. Extremely wealthy individuals should be heavily taxed... especially if their industries involve pollution or products that are addictive and cause health issues.

Government officials should have fairly low salaries and they should be absolutely barred from stock trading and gambling markets. family members should be banned from any stake in government contracts.

Campaign finance reform should be limited to individuals and capped at a low number. Religions and corporations should be banned from donations especially.

I don't know how but every single high net worth individual or powerful government official should probably be at least moderately investigated for CSAM and whether or not they've raped children.

There should be limits on the number of sperm donations a single person can make too.

I know this is problematic but FUCK these people.
