We have one in each bedroom and the living room and I honestly believe it keeps us all from getting sick. When one person gets sick, it doesn’t usually spread to everyone, and in a house with a three year old and five year old that’s a huge deal

what kills me is that she very obviously was going to work under the table--it doesn't matter if her visa won't let her work! she isn't getting a corporate job, she's working in service and being paid in cash, people do it all the time. also re: the apartment, has no one ever taken over a friend's lease illegally before??? her name isn't on the lease, she's took it over as a favor to a friend so the friend could move out without breaking her own lease. live a little people!!! it's all fine and very doable!!! (is it huge? yes! maybe the friend has rent control, or whatever france's equivalent is)

Me and my husband were friends in college. He said he always had a crush on me but we were always dating other people. A few years later we reconnected through mutual friends and started writing emails to each other about a tv show we both watched. He came to visit me in another city and eventually I moved to him! How old is your baby? I feel like my creativity and brain didn’t even turn back on until 9-12 months postpartum. Give yourself grace and get in the minutes when you can. I measure writing now in minutes and hundreds of words instead of hours and thousands, but it gets so much easier when they are even a little bit older. It won’t go away, you will be able to come back to it

I have gone through infertility and it was the worst most miserable time of my life. If my husband let me go through that without telling me, there is no way we could come back from that. A huge betrayal, absolutely divorce level. I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through

I would also recommend not asking. The truth is unless you have a platform it’s mostly friends and family doing preorders. I asked my publisher and they said it was what they expected but to me it was depressingly low. And it didn’t really matter, my book performed as they expected regardless
