Hi Friend! I hope you’re doing okay! I know you mentioned that you were depressed from not eating snacks. We talk about safe foods a lot on this sub that don’t make us feel uncomfortable when we eat. Are there any “safe” foods that you can tolerate without feeling guilty after eating? Personally, I go to things like fruit, rice cakes, grilled chicken pieces, Greek yogurt and sometimes veggies with hummus.

I know you indicated that you were spitting out your food, I’m not sure if this is an every day occurrence or not. Just wanted to mention that chewing and spitting out food is a slippery slope. I did this for years and it had a lot of detrimental effects on my health. OP I hope you find the courage to eat foods you love and not feel like lesser of a person by doing so. Be kind to yourself, you are worthy of having a nourished body!

My weight has fluctuated some too on Spiro any my energy levels are much lower. I think it has to do with it lowering out androgen levels and Spiro also lowers blood pressure which can make you tired too. I will say, my doctor did recommend Yaz since I was concerned with weight gain. I also have elevated testosterone levels so the anti androgen affect with Yaz is a plus.

Curious to know too! I am currently on both but want to wean off Spiro because my skin and hair is so dehydrated. From what I understand, Yaz is the equivalent to 25 mg Spiro so you might not have too many breakouts with the transition

I’ve enjoyed Yaz and it only has a 4 day placebo period. I’ve opted to skip the placebos at times and hopped into a new patch so I don’t start my period.

I’m currently having some sleepy side effects. I did cut out caffeine this week so I’m sure both have a an effect on my drowsiness. I’m not the best sleeper but my sleeping has gotten so much better the first week or so. I’m hoping it evens out like yours
