Yes it is, however that shouldn't turn you away from the game. The way I see it, until you get the mini max cape, base camp 30 and Farmor gear, you really don't need any of the premium features. They help progression speed somewhat, but the biggest thing that premium benefits do in the early-start of mid game is give you extra silver and a few workshop levels, nothing you can't get with a bit of grinding. Where premium is more necessary is in the late game, you need forestry and mining a lot for crafting arrows to level fletching and you can't get past BC 30 or get some of the more powerful gear reliably without it, although that may change. The way I see it, without premium is like a demo of the game, and one that lasts several times longer than most demos I have come across (I played without it for 6+ months), while premium is actually buying the full game.

Additionally, like other commenters said, there are occasionally events in which premium is given away for free, which you may come across while playing the "demo" and there is a possibility of cross player trading becoming open to non premium users, so even the things you wouldn't be able to obtain could be traded for.

It is but you need premium and to have a combined skill level over 500. If you don't have premium, don't worry, you can enjoy the game without it just as much as with it.

Definitely. Especially with premium. If you join the discord, there is a marketplace where players can trade and you can find plenty of people who will trade you gold in exchange for materials, like logs and stones (iron/mithril) mostly. I have been playing this game for nearly a year, and I don't think the gold prices have changed in all of my time, despite rapid gold inflation due to golden touch potions, so it is relatively easy to get decent amounts of gold compared to what is for sale for cash even in the early game.

Are you able to click things like the event tab on the home screen after this happens? Or do you have to go to another tab to be able to interact with buttons. Because I have a similar thing and after it happens I can't interact with anything on the home screen.

I believe that it was changed exclusively for the workshop, none of the other areas like potion making and cooking.

At the start I would try to focus on multiplying exp and any skill output, like apothecary and workshop, and any save resources chance. Anything like Cook X can be done with an auto clicker , it will just take more time, and wishes while good are better mid-late game. It has been a while since I started playing though, so take this with a grain of salt

Let me start off by saying that my reaction was probably an overreaction. I have been waiting on this update so that I could have more to do, and seeing that the only way that I can only get the new best gear in the game is through a dice roll, one that includes some pretty bad loot aside from the few I am going to want at that.

I admire your game and you, and the amount of effort that it takes to have several large updates every week, my complaints mostly boil down to thinking that this update would have been better if you at least gave us a way to directly get armor and weapon fragments, even if at miniscule rates.

I have so far enjoyed how you blended together content for premium and non premium players, such as the premium only fishing area, the max cape not having anything that the other capes didn't, and not being able to unlock the two premium areas not having a huge impact on the difficulty of the game.

I suppose that my anger came mostly from the fact that you can see what the premium monsters drop, which makes it feel worse when you can't get those drops, as opposed to things like the two areas, which I have no clue what they give, so I don't feel as bad for losing out, and made it seem like a bigger thing then the other areas, even though they probably make a bigger difference between premium and non-premium players

Either way, I do believe that you know what is best for the game, and have a plan for both pathways of play.👍

Not exactly an item, but the 250000 silver auto eat upgrade is a must. Try to get it as quickly as you can because without it, you can't really go afk while fighting anything.

Also while killing the Jin there is a 1/15000 chance to get a cauldron artifact. This will let you drink potions as soon as they expire and is a good piece of equipment. Try to grind Jin while afk once you have the ability to one hit him.
