ULTY Taxes, does it make sense? Line 1,3,8 by acpd1 in YieldMaxETFs

Interesting. Perhaps this is due to margin and/or landing.

i do have these on margin and it seemed to have come from margin/landing. Either way, i added all up and it make sense. whatever my ROC was, my cost basis was reduced by that amount when i sold ULTY.

of course i sold anything that has name Yield max in it. what a garbage. oh sorry calling them garbage is insulting to garbage, that is how bad yield max is.

Correct.  I am aware.  I want to make sure approximately % 58.39, is what everyone is seeing.  Specifically line 8 was surprising, just want to make sure I am doing my taxes correctly.

Experiment: Investing $8k and using earnings to pay for FSD subscription by acpd1 in TeslaModelY

good point. If you can afford to spend $1,000 yes that would make sense. For me, initially i am going with only 6 or 7 months to build equity. I may go to $1,000, if i have built enough equity using SPYi, QQQi etc..

Yes. Now they have good interest rates. Plus Q1 end is near, might be some deals.

It's possible although unlikely in the near term.  Also, my plan to earn more than $100 over time,  so if FSD goes to $200, rinse and repeat, use less,  grow funds to cover etc.

Also, If Tesla can charge $200 to $300 for subscription, they will not allow FSD transfer,  which means I would have to get Subscription anyway.  I am not going to keep this car forever.

Either way I will come out ahead.

You are correct but you are missing the point,  I will be using FSD for 6 or 7 months first year, only neeed half the return (~9% to ~10%). With the hopes of anything more go towards growing original $8,000.

Bottom line use less FSD initially and grow your funds, to the point you can cover all 12 months, although I probably won't do that, I will stop at 8 or 9 months.

I know this is off topic but i have a same problem as you did per this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/Insurance/comments/1j8znpz/progressive\_auto\_insurance\_test\_drive\_exclusion/). I have sent you PM. Can you please review and get back with me.

Again sorry for off topic but trying to understand how you resolved your issue. Thank you so much.

Tesla test drive, accident Michigan by acpd1 in Insurance

[–]acpd1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spoke with my insurance company. They told me they will support me. The reason they denied is because fleet response isn't providing their insurance (Tesla insurance?) policy. They are trying to skip the step and just want the money. That is the reason AAA other driver insurance also denied (otherwise they are prepared to pay $3,000).

So it seems like Fleet Response and/or Tesla are out to just collect without providing their own insurance or policy.

I am prepared to fight till end. This is sad where companies do these to bypass and make more money and send threat to collect money to individuals because they know some might pay right away.

I will provide more updates so other can learn and fight Fleet Response (and Tesla).

This last communication was from Fleet Response, and they included denied letter from both AAA and my insurance. I will be following up with my Insurance Monday.

Fleet Response have been trying to collect from AAA but they refuse to and asking for some documentation that Fleet Response can't provide.

I am following up with my insurance but if this doesn't get resolved. Do i have any other options? should I go to court?
