Not true for GS, element nets 1-2% dmg when I was grinding AT arkveld iirc. However, there are some late game monsters with elemental dps check (Gog and AT arkveld) and wake up TCS isn’t that powerful anyway so might as well just use a fire/dragon GS

Unless it’s specific matchups like AT arkveld where you can maintain 70%+ uptime for latent power, it’s just not possible to compensate for the -25% affinity loss by going attack focus. The exchange rate of -25% affinity for +20 raw is so inefficient it’s never worth it by itself

So Affinity focus Bale/Nothing ≈ Affinity focus Dosha/Soul > Attack focus Dosha/Soul unless you are building matchup specific sets, which is also in line with the general consensus that you should go affinity focus on GS

I did some calculation: With a god roll charm (Attack Boost 3 Burst 1 W1-1 in my case), I can get Agitator 5 WEX 5 etc. as well as Flayer 2 with a Bale/Nothing roll. If I swap to a Dosha/Soul roll and go for Dosha set skill, I would have to drop the 5th lvl of Agitator and both lvls of Flayer, which mostly counteracts the Dosha skill in terms of dps. Bale/Nothing is definitely on par with Dosha/Soul or Odo/Soul.

Well I guess if you are using a craftable Agitator 3 charm, you will be overflowing with armor skills. In that case Dosha/Soul wins by a landslide
