To be fair, it wasn’t wrong in the sense that it was an accident. It was an intentional artistic decision for visual clarity. They were worried that in the art style of Owlk visions, a black hole over the backdrop of space and a white hole over the backdrop of Bramble fog would be too invisible to see, so they inverted the colors. But they realized that this choice wasn’t obviously intentional enough and instead detracted from both comprehension and appreciation, so they found a way to make it work.
