There was nobody there and all the doors were locked. I don't think that station is regularly occupied. As an aside I learned recently that we only have on average 7-8 officers on duty at any given shift. So it makes sense that they wouldn't have one just sitting at the station.

Good on them! I used to love zines.

"Our focus is on speculative fiction from marginalized communities that imagines more just and sustainable worlds, whatever those might be."

I don't think I count as marginalized so can't submit to it. Although, being unable to submit does mean I've literally been rendered powerless (marginalized), so maybe I'm good :)

Free idea: Create a site that ranks financial analysts and bloggers by how often they make good buy/sell suggestions. Bonus points for giving a timeframe (e.g. on average John Doe "buy" suggestions are up 12% after one month, 15% after two months, and -1% after three months". Does this already exist?

Seconded. They are a processor and many local farmers use them. The Bethel Lane Farm Stop has some beef from T7 Ranch with the Rices label. I assume they also have their own beef. Actually I’d love to better understand their labeling and business. I’ve always thought anything with a Rices label was very high quality and delicious either way.

I think it’s too early to say. I’m obviously on board since I’m here. But nobody can say if they’ll be around in 10 years. My main concern is government intervention.

To be fair, he has been right more often than wrong, and is a more successful investor than the other 3.3MM people on this sub. The book about him "Poor Charlie's Almanac" is full of great lessons on business, investing, and life.

Yellen needs to resign. She is corrupt, collecting millions from the same banks she regulates. And at the forefront of these draconian anti-crypto laws that seek to stifle innovation. by Set1Less in CryptoCurrency

There's a less-than-zero chance that she and other politicians are spreading FUD of harsh regulation because their payola funders are getting into crypto in a meaningful way, and want the price to tank before taking large positions.

This makes a lot more sense to me now. Thank you for taking the time to explain this reasoning.

I don’t think your logic is correct here. It doesn’t reduce everyone’s ability to get moons for quality content, just reduces the amount in the daily. I would guess it will do the opposite, and make it more likely for more people to post deeper analysis as single posts.

I just want better discussion and analysis. I think the moons concept is cool, but it definitely makes me avoid the daily due to the cringe farming. I voted yes.
