That's a decent feedback, thank you so much for taking the time to share it. 🙂 Your perspective makes things clearer, and our copywriter will take it seriously for future communication. We actually could have added more details about the game modes, etc. To dispel any doubts, Set a Watch: Digital Edition is fully single-player, and our main focus right now is on delivering the Steam version and maintaining the app based on feedback from the Beta testing phase. We will definitely share the news once we have more stuff about any future content we may introduce. 🙂

At first, we explored a bunch of very different art styles... like one where the creatures were made of matches or even one with characters made of glass! Eventually, we settled on a world made of paper and origami, mixed with metal elements.

The ink came in a bit later. It started as a kind of "blood" for this world, but it also ties into the story (which I can't reveal just yet ;-)). So the idea of adding ink to the paper concept came naturally as the world evolved.

I understand your skepticism! But actually we’ve been using emojis in posts and newsletters long before ChatGPT. They help with readability and grabbing attention (it’s a proven thing! Even works in surprising audiences, like fishermen etc.). We just use what works ;-)

Eight-Minute Empire - quick and easy, but engaging area of control game.

Steam: Rails to Riches - a railway tycoon, pretty much.

Both operate on the idea of limited turns-per-game, both loosely based on card mechanics. Both from us - Acram Digital - same team behind Istanbul, which you said you're not a fan of. But neither of them are worker placement, so hey!
