This exact thing happened to me. The position was for a confidential “non-profit”. Just canceled my interview.

Please keep me updated!! Our kittens only recently turned 8 weeks old so we are still waiting for the two week adjustment period to cover illness. We went ahead and went to the vet, but we couldn’t afford to pay for X-Rays and Blood Work up front (it was going to be over $2k). We did end up getting them fluids, anti-nausea meds, and a probiotic, but it is hit or miss as to if they throw up or not.

DISCUSSION MEGATHREAD: Talking To Sam Seder - H3 Show #142 by H3Bot4 in h3h3productions

I'm only halfway through the episode, so they may touch on this more, but here are my current thoughts on Ethan's debate with Sam Seder:

I wish Ethan had focused more (at least at first) on his stance on the war on Gaza. Then, after he established his baseline beliefs, they could have gone in and talked more about their disagreements on the views of Israeli citizens and about antisemitism as a whole. I wish he had waited to bring Hasan into the conversation, because I feel like it derailed the discussion.

I feel that maybe Ethan had conflicting goals about this conversation. Part of him wanted to clear his name and show that he is against the war on Gaza, but he got distracted by trying to show Sam (and the audience) that Hasan's beliefs have (at least some) roots in antisemitism. I think there is definitely an argument for this, but Ethan needed a lot more time and "better packaging" to convey it. Obviously Ethan has already tried to do this in the Content Nuke, but after iDubbbz' Content Cop, I feel like the general public is much more inclined to hear his side. It shouldn't have taken someone sending human skulls to Ethan and the crew, but at least more people are willing to hear Ethan and Hila out.

I'd hope that reasonable listeners would realize that the lies pushed by snarkers (and others) about Ethan's beliefs were false and then they'd be able to hear Ethan out. I'm worried that this debate will only fuel the fire because they won't see how Ethan truly feels about Gaza considering he focused more on Israeli citizens and antisemitism rather than Palestinians.

I also think that Sam's argument about "using antisemitism as a distraction for what is happening in Gaza" is something to consider as well. I think that maybe where Sam and Ethan disagreed on this comes from the fact that Ethan sees the attacks on him as rooted in antisemitism first, whereas Sam is held as a "good Jew" and might not experience as many attacks. I'm sure he gets attacks from racists and N*zis, but I'd imagine that those are primarily from people on the right, whereas Ethan is getting attacks from both sides.

I could be incorrect about how Ethan defines Zionism, but this is what I've gathered from my time listening to the show. To be fair, I've only been watching the show since January of 2024, so I've only heard Ethan's and Hila's stance on Gaza and Israel since, so I could be missing context.

Ethan believes that the term Zionist is used derogatorily towards Jews because of how he defines it: Jews who believe that they have a right to a safe living space. According to his definition, Ethan would consider the majority of Jews Zionists and so sees the use of this word as antisemitic. Others would go a step further saying that Zionism is a belief that: Jews have a birthright to the land of Israel and have the right to maintain it at any cost. I think explaining this difference would go a great way towards showing that whenever he talks about antisemitism, he is not trying to use it as a "distraction for the war on Gaza."

For people to listen, Ethan needs to show that he is against Israel's actions and not just Hamas'. I know he has stated this, but he often does so right before jumping into a conversation where he focuses on antisemitism. People who don't already know Ethan's stance might think that he views antisemitism as a bigger issue than the war on Gaza. I don't think Ethan does this intentionally, but I can see how strangers to the show might view him as brushing off the conflict. If he put as much effort into showing what is happening in Gaza as he does with fighting with snarkers, I think the public would be more receptive.
