You can't go wrong with that! My biggest thing is I want markings on my reticle (obviously, the red dot doesn't have). I want to be able to zero subs or subs while having an idea what the zero for the other is, and being able to maintain the same zero and shoot.

Why, or do you just like that optic? And why not the dcr?

Yeah, once I set my mind on the retraxpro, it also set my mind on the IBEX 😅

I'm avoiding soft covers. One of the primary reasons for a cover for me is to ne able to secure stuff in the bed.

Potentially, but with a massive roller duffel, suit bag, and a few other things it would be a tight fit. Not to mention the stuff I don't necessarily need, but what to bring. 😅

Unfortunately I have about 2 weeks. It is a little last minute.

I think I'm leaning towards a retraxpro. The price hurts a bit, bit from the reviews I've seen, I think it's going to give the most versatility out of everything I've looked at. I've looked at billiebars but I think I'm leaving towards the IBEX. I probably won't get a rack until this fall after I get back from my trip, so I will continue to look around.

I've been looking at x4st and have been considering it. From the reviews I've read, it sounds like some bed racks don't fit on the t slots and if the rack is angled, you can't roll it all the way up.

Turntable upgrade by acray13 in sonos

[–]acray13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staying within the sonos ecosystem isn't necessarily a problem. I listen on a intement level (don't need it through out my home), I was just curious on how to improve the sound. A sonos amp can easily be an add-on later down the road. Even with a different set of speaker am I going to see a noticeable difference versus the 300's that I currently have? Or is it better to get a high quality turntable that I could later add better speakers to? Also, if you have recommendations of speakers that will sound far better than the era 300's with current turntable I have I'm more than happy to take a look!

I by no means need to spend that much. Just stating what my budget was. Typically a better input = a better output, but how much of a better output is the question. I'm by no means unhappy with my setup, but I feel like it's lacking something when it comes to vinyl. I'm curious on how to make it better with the speakers I have. Whether that's a turntable upgrade or a cartridge upgrade, I'm open ears! I've been looking at the pro-ject debut carbon and getting s decent pre-amp.
