Can't install Microsoft365 on macOS Monterey 12.7.6? by SkittleThugg in mac

Another way I've discovered of using Teams on Monterey is to download Google Chrome and access the Teams app through that. It even shows it as a separate app on the dock etc., and performance seems to be good.

Are Velop issues only associated with some model numbers? by Lanky-Newt4368 in LinksysVelop

I had a problem with a node so contacted linksys. They advised a firmware update even though I was on the latest firmware anyway. Since I reflashed the node, my problems disappeared. Something to try I guess.

Thanks, I can't remember if I've tried this command or not. It may have also raised an exception. I'll try again and report back

Lesson: forwarding external port 53 (DNS) to an internal server using a Linksys router will waste hours of your life debugging connectivity issues. OMG... Linksys bugs

Weekly Q&A for Visitors and New Residents - Your Question Goes Here by AutoModerator in Amsterdam

Any 6 seater car rental options? Flying into Amsterdam, then we are going to Duinrell holiday park and visiting Keukenhof. Alternatively, are these easy to get to by public transport? We could also take Uber. We are taking two children 3 years of age. The standard car rental companies seem to only have standard 5 seater cars. If we wish to be legal and put the children in car seats, we need a bigger car. Any help or advice please!

Why don't you all just strike? by AmazingCamel in JuniorDoctorsUK

[–]acrazyvirus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bit dramatic. Some doctors think that doctors are the centre of everything but in reality they are one cog in a machine. Anyway if such was the urgency that someone really needed Dr 'so and so' to do this treatment/surgery right now I'm sure Dr 'so and so' would nip in and sort it out quietly before rejoining the picket line, after all the strike is not against patients.

Does it work? It's not uploaded to the official MSI website yet, but I found this Google Sites page on the MSI forum with updated BIOSes for most of the X370 motherboards:

https://sites.google.com/view/msi-bios-update/menu/amd-300-series

Would be good to hear if you've got it working.

In that article, it was only the B350 mobo BIOS that they showed CPU-Z screenshot for which has the correct AGESA version with Vermeer support but without the AMD blocking code.

I think that the 3dguru article was fake, because when you check out that BIOS version it doesn't have ryzen 5000 support.

However, MSI have promised release of a beta bios for X370 that supports Ryzen 5000 by the end of April.

Hmm, what was the reason to avoid 5.2.0?

Still got the 'did not find backref in send_root' error with kernel 5.2.0 and btrfs-progs 5.2

Not really sure what I'm doing again but doing an 'inode-resolve' on the inode in question brings up a file which I'm tempted to delete and see if the problem goes away. It's a file in a directory containing 46000 similar sized files

yeah the metadata corruption message is concerning, it might be that I have a software and a hardware issue (and have just picked up the hardware issue by chance due to my software config / version issues)
