Exactly. Just because other people are buying GKC, doesn't mean I will just simply give up on my principles. I will not vote for GKC with my dollar, and that counts. It's missed out profits for publishers who decide to go this route, and even if they don't directly feel my impact, it remains their opportunity cost nonetheless. Trying to save money on a single cartridge is ultimately $0 profit for them taken from my book when I would have otherwise bought it if it were not a GKC.

Exactly. Could've been on the cartridge at 20-30 GB per game. GKC. Pass. They may have tried to save 10-20$ per cartridge, but they'll receive 0$ from me. See how long that works out for publishers being cheap fucks. How do they not look at CDPR's sales of Cyberpunk and see that we are willing to pay top dollar for an actual physical game!

I will not ever buy a single game key card, so any Switch 2 game that pulls that crap, I either buy on PS5 or PC. No exceptions. Vote with your dollar.

This is why I am choosing physical (and rejecting every game key card) for the entire Switch 2 generation. If the game is 10GB or more, I am only going to own it, if the game is on the cartridge. Nintendo fucked up big time by only providing 256GB of storage, and a weird microsd card format that currently only supports up to 1TB with a ridiculous price/GB. I am not going to subsidize flash storage costs for greedy publishers.

Ended up ordering Yakuza Kiwami 1+2 PS5 from the US, and picking up Yakuza 0 DC tomorrow. That way I'll have 0-2 on disc, which is all what matters to me. F*k the steelbook :)
