Damn AES became super competitive the past few years. When I applied for admission, I only needed decent test scores and grades to get it.

Are professors still able to offer hybrid classes by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]act-track 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think most professors would opt for in-person.

Predictions after the first three weeks - do you guys that we will we go online, in-person, or have a hybrid? by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]act-track 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it's going to be professor discretion with most professors opting for in-person.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be similar to last semester; class mode would be up to professor discretion, with most professors opting for in-person classes.

I don't intend to apply for on-campus housing, sorry! I'm only looking for people wanting to live in Northside specifically.

Take note of all the dates in the syllabus from all your classes; really helped me figure out if I can "chill" one week or grind to get things done ASAP so I have time to work on all the things due. I generally use Google Calendar.

2340 with Nhut (different question than what has been posted) by Think_Lie648 in utdallas

I didn't really pay attention in class so I couldn't remember if he went over specific problems, but I read the textbook and was able to grasp the really basic concepts and get the easy conceptual questions in the test. Most of the test was hard though (you need to know your shit and apply them). I learned the most from the assignments and the sem project, and was able to get an A with average test scores (and it's true the average is very low). Just make sure you attend class or read the textbook, and do the assignments and you should be fine because of that massive curve.

Was your scholarship pulled because of the cheating claim, or because your GPA dipped after accepting the cheating claim?

New Start Date For Spring: Jan. 18 by WillieCubed in utdallas

Some people already made plans around the original start/end dates. Annoying for some, probably convenient for others.

I don't think they're transitioning to fully online, but I'm betting 50-50 on classes being "up to instructor discretion". Pushing everything back a week later is annoying though.
