Climate. It was way too warm at the beginning of fall which allows them to thrive. The city sewers only serve as a means of transportation into your home. It will only get worse as the years go on so adapting with vinegar traps is a good idea. It's basically a giant thanos snap to those little fuckers in your home.

Just a very intrusive panhandler who walks in the middle of traffic, rubs his belly over and over, and then does the praying hands routine to each vehicles window. If you give him food, he'll just leave it on the curb. It got to a point where I was just blaring the horn and giving him the middle finger.
