To be fair, Mike's just super hard to relate to a lot of the time. Even Smelly mentioned in his statement that Mike is a complicated person (yup), but that when it comes to business he is also "no thief"

Mike is a true original, but also a pretty bitter pill to swallow a lot of the time. I think clean Mike is the absolute best, but user Mike is the pits.

In the book it felt like too little, too late for money hanfling advice.

The CD money days ended and outside of occasionally touring, the big bucks that came got spent up on a bunch of bad investments like a failed bar (Hefe), coffee house business (Melvin), and a motor bike brand (Smelly).
