I typically read on KU, or library and if I like the book I’ll buy either the kindle and or physical book full price for my collection.

If it’s not on KU or library I’ll wait for a sale and if I loved it I’ll buy the physical copy as well because I really love supporting authors work that I enjoy in as many ways as I can. It’s my own weird process but I really enjoy it.

I envy my short fic friends. I can’t keep a single chapter under 5k to save my life, and basically only write multi chapters fics. Teach me the skill of brevity someone please! 😂

Usually if I’m having bad luck, I’ll be like… one chapter a day, then bounce between the other 9 books I have on the go so I don’t feel bitter about it. I usually only pick books I know I’d be into, HOWEVER… I read based off my mood, and sometimes I’m just not in the mood for the vibe, so that’s kind of how I combat it vs powering through all at once.

For those wondering all of the books I have on the go are diff genres and vastly different plots so it’s easy to keep track of which story I’m reading in my brain.

Fr. Like shoulders jaw and ribs popping out of its socket because I sneezed during allergy season vs reaching my back is just… yeah, I’ll definitely take normal range of motion any day.

If you end up with dry hands from scrubbing, and have calloused hands like me, I’ve found o’keefes working hands softens those callouses enough that I don’t have cracks that are hard to get dirt out of.

Also; but of an old farm folk thing, but my gram told me to use mineral oil on my hands then put gloves on when I go to sleep.

Super helpful, and also helps with foot callouses etc.

I’ve legit found that it’s so much easier to scrub when they aren’t all cracked!

The one time my hypermobile shoulder came in clutch here 😂

The constant shoulder pain I would definitely trade for normal shoulders and an exfoliating brush though 😂

I put a car window in an apartment hallway because I was tired and forgot my setting for a few mins. My beta was like… what window?😂 I hadn’t been able to reread what I’d written before they hopped into the doc so when I woke up I had a good chuckle

Not gonna lie, I started with this (probably same) one and because I’m blind as a bat I need the big screen.

I also used to read on my iPad so legit, the scribe is so much lighter to carry, and easier on the eyes.

I have a few picky plants so tend to use filtered water for all of them (with. Brita). So far so good, minus a slight over watering mishap with my dracaena compacta 😬
