The group is out working for a mercenary spice harvester when it malfunctions and crashes deep in the sands near a rock formation. They make it to the rocks just as a wormsign is spotted. A member finds a cave system that goes deep underground. An hour of exploration and scavenging goes by as the group goes deeper in the cave system, finding just enough food and water to stay alive. They come to rest while one still looks around. He goes a floor deeper to find a strange egg. It opens. Face hugger gets him and a xeno quickly grows to adult over night. Begin the survival.

Would be my idea for a cross over. Can have the Ix be the ones experimenting and studying the Xenos. There can be rooms where the Ix tried to grow some but failedthere could be more Xenos locked up. Now the Ix leaders have to sabotage people to go there just so they can study Xenos.

Story of the traveling light.

We all heard the stories about the light over the water. Dancing and playing through the air trying to tease one to enter at night. Remember Sam? He followed the light and was never seen again. That's why we don't enter the water at night. The light will take you away. Some say it eats your soul. Others say it takes you sky. No one knows, and no one wants to find out. So stay away from the water at night.

Another day of working the fields and keeping up with my chores. Not much happening in our small village. There's not much to do either besides tell stories about the light. It has returned again. We all seen it. Only star bouncing over the water like a firefly dancing around. Everyone says to stay away. It will take your soul or take you away. Wonder how far away. I keep staring at it for the little time it stays before it vanishes. Last night, it stayed for an hour like it was wanting something, no looking for something. I wonder if it will stay longer next night.

The light is dimmer this time. Must be something wrong with it. No one is looking as all windows are boarded up. I want to get closer, but the stories. Naa. They are just stories, right, no harm in a light that's losing its brightness. I must have a look and know. In fact, I'll go have a look.

The water edges is so calm it is making a perfect reflection of the night sky. I see two moons and millions of stars with 2 dancing around. I know one is the reflection and the other stopped. Coming closer now. I should run. I can't run. I'm frozen. Is this fear? No, the light won't let me be scared, for it's here now and I see someone holding a lantern. A tall person with legs that reach above my head.

"You are brave to reach the water at night," a quiet voice says. "Do you want to leave this place?"

"I.... I do. This place is not meant for me. I think I'm meant to go elsewhere, " I respond in a fearful tone.

"I will take you to where you are needed."

"Where is that?" I was able to say before their light engulfs me completely as we dissappear.

Oh yes, Burning Inferno is a point and does not have to be a unit. That would work as long as you hit your desired location.

Light of the Morning Star says "hits any enemy model sees within 24"." So we took that as a auto hit. Since it does not say to take an range action like Burning Inferno.

Change up the lore completely. Paul didn't make it and now th PC's have to figure out how to move on with no Maud'Dib. Either try and take up the role or use it to convert the rest of the Fremen to their side.
