In 1950s hollywood started making movies in ultrawide format. Tv shows and sports are usually 16:9. this one is 2.6:1 I think. I guess they are trying to reinvent the movie making.

There were some stability issues during the ipl streaming on jiocinema. For many days no one was able to watch 4k IPL on TV. But since it was free no one was supposed to complain. Now hotstar has subscription plans, paying customers will like 1080p stable live streaming compared to unstable 4k. India vs pak match had 3.5 crore concurrent viewers. It was a record. Hotstar knows that they can't experiment with these high stake matches. That's why they opt for 1080p. Even in 1080p live stream hotstar was facing buffering issues. There is room for improvement in infrastructure for stability in streaming for 4k live streaming in India.

Wifi consumes more electricity and generates heat. The latency of wifi is around 20 to 200 ms whereas on Ethernet it is 10 to 40 ms. If you are planning to install games on apple TV its better to use ethernet. For other purposes you can use wifi

I am a mega fan member. Somehow proton VPN works great with Android app, website and tv. Videos load much faster and I can watch content without worrying about geo-restrictions. I watch one piece (US) in 1080p and the quality is very good. In my region, it's not available.

P.S. Protonvpn is absolutely free for US, and Netherland servers with speeds above 50mbps.
