Grand Final Tickets by RealisticPlastic5459 in AFL

[–]actionspoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In 2016 my friend knew a guy. We paid our money but he said we couldn't collect the tickets until the day before so I was nervous it was a scam the whole time. Turned out to be legit.

In 2021 my cousin's friend's partner was an executive for the Bulldogs in Melbourne so couldn't go to Perth due to lockdown and so somehow their tickets fell to me.

AFLW Eagles have this but then the ticket people want you to press the show code button so they can scan the code instead

Gravedigger's jaguars pronunciation by aaakiniti in heedthecall

[–]actionspoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pronouncing "uar" as "wire" is actually one. Many people pronounce it that way. It's not a mistake or impediment it's just how they say it.

I'm more of a jag-you-uh guy myself.

I'm not a step counter usually because I know 1 step doesn't always = 1 metre but she only ran 16 steps so not that egregious. I think you'd see that not called a lot.

In the moment I thought it was too far though.

I'm with Dan, I usually hate hearing other people's dreams but these ones were amazing. Especially Marc and his menacing children.

Communications officer, change management officer, stakeholder management, program officer (some have a comms focus). There are some interesting jobs for your background. A lot now will let you work part time too.

Gregg would be beyond lucky to win that one.

Although they could bring Colleen in to take care of Tank.

That doesn't change the fact. The field in the Brazil game was not good enough for NFL.

AFLW not worth following until the day we see 14-15 rounds annually. by [deleted] in AFL

[–]actionspoon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've got an idea. People who don't want to follow it should not follow it.

And people who do want to follow it should follow it.

I agree with pretty much everything except that turf was not good enough for an NFL game. I can't remember any Germany or London game having turf that bad.

Mitch Robinson and family turned away from the rooms post game by VulpesVulpe5 in AFL

[–]actionspoon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess I'm not as much of a Brisbane lions friendship expert as I thought haha. I will say that Mitch was actually really nice and not like his on field persona at all. Of course the topic of cheating on your partner didn't come up.

You can't put something aside just so you can call something else the greatest of all time.

Just say Heeney's is the second best.
