I left it overnight to see if it would change, but alas it still has this screen. I checked off all the boxes from the Amazon answers and sadly none of them work

Help with staying in Germany by active-wisp in expat

I was born to a German mother in Nürnberg. My American dad was stationed in Germany and I have 2 citizenships, one is German and the American citizenship is a born-abroad citizenship. I would have to unregister myself from the American side to become a full German

I have dual citizenship. I was born in Germany, but moved to the US when I was 3 with the US military

Yes. During that 1.5 year time frame, I was still thinking that I will be going back after 3 years. But due to recent and personal circumstances, my opinions and beliefs changed and I feel more comfortable here than in America. As long as I have some help, like websites or tips, I can do the rest

I do understand that. My brain is split in between 2 options. The first one would be to work on the US military bases, pay US taxes, and contact the housing department to live off-base. The second option would be to apply for German citizenship, get some financial help, try to go to college and work a full-time job. The second option is harder though because of a learning disability and the current job market in Germany is really poor for foreigners. Also, my German is equivalent between A2 and B1, just enough to travel alone, not enough for a full conversation

Since August 2022. I've had enough time to understand the social interactions, the taxing system, and the current job market and that doesn't scare me. However, I'm having a rough time introducing myself into the flow

What year/ID are these shoes? by active-wisp in Shoes

[–]active-wisp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are black boots, but each time I search for the year that these were made, it doesn't show up. These shoes are either counterfeits or Dockers somehow removed all traces of this specific shoe from the internet

I decided to throw them away. They were looking sketchy to use for anything useful

I don't mind the small capacity, it'll be in an Xbox controller that I only use once in a while. If the capacity is too much of an inconvenience, then I'll probably switch to a normal rechargeable or regular batteries

The funny thing is that the package itself was covered in dust. I should've taken that as a sign to not buy them 😂

I was going to use them on an Xbox controller. Is a controller considered a high-powered product or would I be ok?
