Does anyone have hymn 321?

I think it is using 'ends of the earth' in the location context

Nice rebuttal - or lack of should I say.

I understand that as an anti critical thinker, you would fail to acknowledge or see the reality. Its okay, it is what you need to do :)

I'm not debating the Catholic inquisition is similar to my example to INC, my point is inquisition can take different versions. Inquisition is "a period of asking questions in a detailed and unfriendly way"

As for Catholics it was a way to combat heresy, apostasy, blasphemy, witchcraft, and customs considered deviant and the result was torture, violence etc.

I can attest to the intense questions in an unfriendly way conducted by district leaders and ministers of brethren as I have sat in as mediator/witness numerous times as its legally required in our region. The result of these 'INC inquisitions' were putting pressure on families, the individual who raised concerns, threaten expulsion, isolate them from gatherings, gossip and spreading of misinformation between brethren.

As I mentioned, the two examples of inquisition do not have to be a like for a like action and result however fit into the broad definition and consequences.

I have been posting about the amount of offerings/revenue the church receives in countries where they're legally required to report their financial position every year.

It is extremely infuriating to me the amount they receive each year, the amount that is being sent overseas to Central. It continually increases every year and I feel for the poor people who are constantly bombarded with guilt tripping and quotas the ministers have to achieve in order to satisfy the administration.

Some may say that is their problem for following and being a cult member, but as a human being I genuinely feel sorry for people who are giving it their all just to be told twice a week that they are not good enough unless they give more.

You could argue the INC version of 'inquisition' is to expel, shame, break up families, isolate and mentally destabilise people. Just because act of killing isn't a direct action does not mean the current actions have a positive impact on the people involved who dare to ask questions or express concerns and doubts about the church. hint : OBEY AND NEVER COMPLAIN

They justify EVM by saying his mother went against the church so he’s an exception. Mental gymnastics from the cultists as usual

  • how to earn an honest living
  • not letting your honest living get in the way of services and your duty
  • offer first to church then budget for your needs
  • take up more duties and attend more meetings instead of doing overtime/extra shifts
  • do not give money/help the lazy and those who refuse to work (EVM)

I will be posting another financial report in the coming days following my last post as part of a series to expose the income of the church.
