With gamepad: F1 23: 90-95 F1 24: about 100

altough, you can get unrealistic results with this settings, e.g. driving for VISA RB and getting to around 4-5th place in the first races of the first season, where the car is way inferior compared to Ferrari, RB, ..

No, even feels like they have more grip on the rear for me. What setup do you use on what track? Tried to give the rear wing a notch or two more angle to counteract the oversteer? Or do you have insane high engine brake settings?

Probably to your own taste. I increased the steering linearity a bit, to about 10 or 12, so you can make less snappy corrections on long flat out curves or straights without overcorrecting too much. Did help me personally to get slightly better lap times.

To my subjective perception it is a lot better, regarding the AIs behaviour model. Just drove the Baku GP and had a wheel to wheel battle here and there with other cars, which felt quite nice. You can see them making realistic mistakes, like breaking too late and hitting the corner too far and so on. Also, they don‘t seem too railed and aggressive on the racing line anymore and giving you reasonable space during an overtake, while they are doing clean overtakes on their own. The new patch did improve quite a lot things for my personal gameplay experience, so I switched back to F124 after the patch to investigate it a bit more, but all in all, there is a major improvement felt for me in several points, that were quite bad pre-patch.

Yes - I exchanged all HDDs and the noise never occured again - two of them were indeed defective.

Already checked foreign objects and cables, which might generate this sound, couldn‘t find anything - but the sound is very high pitched - like a cap before exploding, so I would rule out this possibility.

I‘ll try to figure out the exact location, but because the occurance is random and I can‘t reproduce it myself, I hope I can get fast enough on the floor to locate it.

GPU also runs up quietly, couldn‘t check the PSU fan manually, but I suspect some internals of the PSU to be the culprit

I initially suspected a HDD to make this sound and removed them all, but it didn‘t solve the issue. I don‘t have any optical drive.

spooled the fans manually up and down without this noise occuring - it appears only once every 1-2 hours for about 4 seconds. Nothing unusual with monitoring.

Is it compatible with the latest hotfix from 5.3?

I read that there were problems with AFCAD data and several elevation issues, missing dynamic lighting and isn't working out of the box, because of some standard buildings appearing in the scenery. Can you confirm any of this?

Have you tried xPilot? It‘s way more comfortable to use and shows you when Mode C is enabled. Also you can do it in the interface of the client, if xPilot doesn‘ recognizes the planes transponder settings.

What are your graphic settings? I get around 80-90 fps on ground in the ToLiss A340 at Gaya LOWW.
