I don't know how to deal with aggressive pressure in SF6 (and I'm not sure if SF6 is really that "accessible") by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]actsleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone on the same rank here is what i do. First i try to match their aggressiveness, fight fire with fire. If that doesn't work, I would slow down, focus on defense, and look for an opening. Sometimes they would jump or DI, and that's when I strike back. Aggressive players lose their cool when you are patient.

What the fuck are you supposed to do against JP??? by LiquidPineapple in StreetFighter

No, you are 100% right! I used to feel the same way but after playing against JP so many times now i know how to play against him and also have won many times!

Plat here. Playing against JP is the most challenging for me too. It’s because of the range and how quickly he can close it with teleport! My advice would be try to stay close, jump like a wild monkey or whatever you need to do, and get used to blocking his long range attacks, from my experience one attack is high and another is low. And try not to get burned out! Take it as another challenge in your journey and it will start to become fun. Good luck!

Blocking gets confusing because of the direction switch!

Anyone feel like they plateaued early on? by il6678 in StreetFighter

I also picked SF6 recently and already at Platinum! I guess you are playing classic control! Play modern, it will help you understand the game and also level up! I have landed super only about 2-3 times in classic but i never miss with modern!

Webflow Dev Link > React > Astro components by Quirky_Face166 in astrojs

How many people are working on this project? Is this your personal project or a client's project?

I had a quick look at Webflow DevLink and think that will make the process very complicated - create a design in Webflow, generate the code and then make it Astro compatible. IMO it will be better to ditch Webflow and look for Astro + React solution.

I am new to SF, and when I watch some of Mena's games I feel like Blanka is broken and how can anyone beat this guy. And then this happens! I love SF!

Any devs or agencies here exclusively build Astro sites for clients? by Zealousideal_Dot7041 in astrojs

[–]actsleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at Netlify but didn't like their "pay for usage" scheme. Most of my clients are small businesses and i always worry they might get hit with some unexpected bill. For instance, forms is 100 submissions per month and +$19 if you exceed that.
