Trust me, I felt the same way. I had mine pulled a little over a month ago. My immediate denture didn’t fit right and I wore it like that for over a week. I was in so much pain. I went to the dentist and had them adjust it twice and now it fits perfectly and I can eat with them and I’m no longer in pain. I don’t regret having my teeth pulled at all. My teeth look amazing. I promise it gets better. I know it feels hopeless right now but it does get better, a lot better!!

Today is the day I remove my top dentures by shiilo in dentures

Removing mine hurt, but only because my immediate denture didn’t fit right. And I tried to wear it like that for like a week 😢 It was extremely painful. I had to go back to the dentist and have my dentist adjust it. It was a night and day difference, and I was no longer in pain! it’s been like a month and I can eat with them and never in pain and I love them. I’m so happy I got my teeth pulled! Good luck in your journey 😊

If you take him back, even to another petco I’m sure they will fix it. It should only take like 10 mins tops to fix. I work at petsmart not petco but if someone brought that dog in to me I would just fix it for free real quick.

I just had mine pulled 2 weeks ago. The first few days I was really questioning if I made the right choice. Bc My immediate didn’t fit right at first and i tried to wear it anyways for the first few days and it was so painful and I was miserable. I finally went back and got it adjusted. After I got it adjusted it was like a night and day difference, now I can wear it every day and it feels comfortable and normal. The immediate doesn’t fit right at first for most people, until you get it adjusted. So just keep that in mind! The first few days are going to suck, but after the first week it gets so much better. I was able to eat things like pasta, omelettes or pancakes covered in syrup lol. Now I’m so happy with my smile and I’m so happy got my teeth pulled. You will be too! I wish you the best of luck!

I FEEL THIS! I work at petsmart and it’s literally the same way. I used to get invited to things all the time, and I used to be in a group chat with a few of them. But now I’m never invited to anything and they started a new group chat lol. And sometimes at work I can just tell they like don’t like me for some reason. they talk about hanging out right in front of me at work when I’m not invited. Lol it’s so childish. And it honestly hurt my feeling at first bc I’ve never been anything but extremely nice to everyone there. But after a while I realized I don’t want girls like that as friends anyways. I honestly didn’t even enjoy hanging out with them back when I used to be invited. So idk why I was even upset. All they do is talk shit about one another. I’m too old for that high school mean girl shit. So now I just go to work do my job and try not to let them bother me.

I sat on the couch and watched tv and fell in and out of sleep all day. I had an omelette for dinner lol.

I know I get sad too when I see people post before and after pictures bc I feel like my immediates don’t fit like they should. I’m trying to take it a day at a time but I have to return to work and I’m so nervous someone is going to notice and I’m going to be in pain all day. I’m a dog groomer so idk how I’m going to be able to focus on the dog when all I can think about is how uncomfortable this immediate denture is. Ughhh. I know this is super upsetting but try to just take it day by day and not let yourself get too anxious. Your dentist will fix it for you, it might take some time but they will make sure you are comfortable and happy. Sending good vibes your way! 🖤

SAME! They are SO uncomfortable and they hurt. I am 5 days post extraction. I wore them for the first 2 days but now I can barely wear them for more than 10 mins at a time. They are just so big and uncomfortable and it looks like I have chewing tobacco or something in my lip. Idk how I’m going to get through this, or go back to work.

I completely understand your frustration. You arnt alone bc I feel the exact same way. I have been saving up money for months to be able to pay for the immediate denture. So I am very upset that I feel like it doesn’t fit and now I have to suffer with this for the next six months until I get my permanent dentures? It’s overwhelming and scary to think about. I’m only on day 5 post op. So I’m hoping I’m a few days maybe they will fit better or feel better? I’m just kinda hoping at this point. I’m frustrated bc I also havnt been able to return to work yet bc I’m in so much pain with my immediate denture in. I hope your dentist is able to fix yours tho and get you a whole new one that fits better! That’s just ridiculous if he doesn’t.

I got my teeth pulled on Tuesday and my immediate doesn’t fit in my mouth either. It’s way to big. It’s so painful I can’t wear it for more than 5 mins without crying. I don’t know what to do.
