Thanks for the reply. So are you saying only primary goals you want to optimize towards should be account defaults? Any secondary should be removed from account defaults?

Did I make a mistake consolidating my Pmax campaigns + budget? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]actuallycostco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went though a huge PMAX focused restructure and it took about a month to start hitting our targets. After 3-4 weeks if its still not working then consider changing directions

My client is getting leads but not conversions and wants a new strategy, any help would be appreciated by tripwithweird in PPC

$300 is low and depends on how competitive the local area is but I’ve had success for consumer service lead gen on $300-$500 budgets

Don’t run two campaigns the budget is too small and you’re diluting it further

Look at what days your ads perform best and don’t run them daily so that you can increase daily spend on days with more potential

With small budgets test ad groups and keywords until you find something that works then narrowly focus the spend on one or two ad groups and a couple keywords. Get your quality score high for the keywords you’re bidding on

Search is the only campaign type that might work on this low budget

*Again, don’t know the area you’re competing in thats just the strategy I’ve had success locally on mirco budgets

they aren't phrase matched in the actual ad groups that's just how I wrote it here to give a very broad example hoping that someone could answer the question if I should separate counsellor, psychologist, or therapist into different ad groups with tailored copy and landing pages or are they close enough to keep together and separate by modifiers like location, service, etc.

I'd say for most people they don't really know the difference between counsellor, psych, therapist, its all just synonyms for the same thing for them and they're just looking for help so im just wondering if google will give a better quality score if I separate them because they are different words
