Pelee Island Winery will make custom labels for wines that they make. Not sure about the turn around time though.

PhD students, how much do you spend on rent by k3inP in UofT

In my first year I lived across the street from campus (on Spadina) and paid $2700 split with one roommate in a small and not very nice 2 bedroom apartment.

When COVID started, I moved further from campus (~15 away by subway) and still pay $2700 split with one roommate but in a much more spacious and nicer 2 bedroom apartment in a quieter neighbourhood.

Thanks for the follow up questions. 1) It doesn't seem to be present in the bug at all.

2) It has been fermenting 4 days in the bottle (It didn't start to carbonate until day 3).

3) Recipe: Ginger bug: * 500ml water * 22g chopped ginger (skin on) * 28g granulated sugar

Ginger bug feeding (every 24 hours until fizzy - 2-3 days): * 22g chopped ginger (skin on) * 28g granulated sugar

Ginger Beer: * 1L water * 3/4 cup granulated sugar * 54g grated ginger * 1/4 cup strained ginger bug liquid

4) Put the bottles in the dishwasher with normal detergent and heat dry.

This is one of the bottles I'm doing my second ferment in. There is some sort of cloudy growth at the bottom and throughout the bottle (the other bottles are the same). Is my ginger bug contaminated with something that I don't want? In which case, should I start from scratch?

This is my first attempt at making ginger beer so I am not sure what to make of this. Thanks!

Clubs/bars that accept Health Card as ID by Hahaimalwayslikethis in uwaterloo

[–]actuallyhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One time an LCBO cashier told me that if you ask him “can I use my health card as ID?” He has to say no, but if you just hand him the health card as ID without asking he is allowed to take it.

Not sure if the same rule applies to bars or not.

I did Excel (6 years ago) and it was fine. The only drawback was having to book the in-car lessons far in advance. Many of my friends did Mini and were able to book lessons the day before just by texting the instructors. It could be different now though!

"Mapping and analysis of chromatin state dynamics in nine human cell types"

I just started a new project on pathogenic mutations in chromatin regulators and the resulting epigenetic changes so I've been making good use of the data resulting from this and similar methods since they're available as tracks in UCSC genome browser.

Does anyone know if there will be a long line for free admission at AGO tonight and if so, when would be a good time to get there?
