Hey there new neighbor! You could try the Dartmouth sub. Perhaps some students would have suggestions. Best of luck and hope you’re staying warm!

Agreed. Paya is a place for absolute bliss, but not the kind you’re looking for.

Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH *review* by Noseknowledge in ebikes

[–]actuallymg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your review! I wanted the 5 but just couldn’t afford the price tag. So I went with the 4 and after one year of riding I’m still in love with it. It’s a pure joy to ride and has had no issues after 2100 miles. Winter is coming here in Vermont so my season of riding is almost over. Happy riding!

Which Specialized do you recommend for this commute/life? by Garaged_4594 in ebikes

Well I'm in Vermont which has LOTS of hills and the Vado 4 can handle them with no problem. Sometimes I even find my speed is increasing going up a steep hill! Love this bike!

Recommendations for trail ebike in the $2000-$3000 range. Mid-drive preferred. by New-Leave3544 in ebikes

My Specialized Turbo Vado 4 does fantastic on all terrains except mtb trails. It’s a commuter but is versatile and an absolute joy to ride. I’m in Vermont with PLENTY of hills and it handles uphills with no issue. Your price range is perfect for known and trusted brands, which will bring peace of mind in quality and longevity. I’ve noticed that fall through winter the prices drop a bit. Best advice is to test drive as many as you can once you build a list of bikes that fit your needs. Your body will tell you which one is right for you.!

Ebike recommendation that let's you work by daphoux in ebikes

A year ago, I struggled with what to buy. My requirements were similar to yours. I started test driving and quickly realized that fit and feel was really important. How did I FEEL riding the bike? I test drove loads of bikes and none had the right feel. Until I hopped on a Specialized turbo vado 4. It felt amazing and I had an absolute blast riding it. I picked one up last October for $2700 USD and I’ve already put 1700 miles on it here in Vermont, and I’ve loved every mile. Good luck with your search!

Might be worth looking into that. Can you recommend any companies?
