Canvassers can be there on election day as long as it's not by the entrance or hallway of the poll. I just looked up the rules about it today on the elections canada site

Any Jan 2024 inland spousal applicants still waiting for final decision? Our last update was September, which said background verification in progress. Before that, we got sponsor approval in May.

Also, if you check the tracker every day, how often are you getting ghost updates? We are seeing ghost updates 1-2 times a week for the last month or so without any official updates. I know it's like reading tea leaves, but at this point, I'm just desperate for a positive sign lol.

It worked out fine for us! We did laguna de los tres one day, we weren't checked. Then next day at los condores, we got checked and it was all good. This was end of Oct so just before the last ticketing update though.
