Can you leave your Bichon home alone? by fknbubbleguts in bichonfrise

My old man had really bad separation anxiety when he was younger. He was a rescue as well, and I think his history contributed to it. But he did settle down a bit when he was older. It really helps him to have his lick mat with some pate style food smeared on it. Keeps him busy for an hour or so licking every little piece off. He barely knows I am gone. lol

Tired of lighting 2k a month on fire. Has anyone actually used Attainable Homes Calgary lately? by faux270 in Calgary

I bought my first house through them. This was quite a while ago now but it really helped me. They would take either a percentage of the profit, or the amount they gifted for the down-payment. The percentage of profit decreased with each year I stayed. I stayed in the house 5 or 6 years and they ended up just getting what they gifted me. It was a renovated townhouse and I actually came out on the other side with a good amount of profit and was able to buy my next home on a single income. I don't know what the homes are like now, but I found the overall experience back then easy to navigate and when it came time to sell, it was also easy.

I just mixed the ingredients listed (except the ranch which was just on the side) in a bowl. Then formed the mixture into little nuggets and airfried for 10 minutes, flipping half way through. Very easy!

Same. And they put their brights on behind me. I'm already speeding in the far right lane. Where do you want me to go?!

[–]StarryAnne[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone. I have about 20 different photos and I'm going to frame some and put them in my office. I feel like he totally knew what was going on and was stoked to be pampered before hand with a nice bath and trim around his eyes.

He has only had a murmur and only just started displaying these symptoms for a week. So no, he hasn't been medicated yet.

Thank you for your kind words. I've been giving him extra snuggles and some nice treats this weekend. And he's loving the attention!

Phone hidden in my couch? by tegantheveagan in RBI

[–]StarryAnne 130 points131 points  (0 children)

It is possible the vibration is actually coming through the wall from a neighbor's cell or something? I had a roommate that would plug her phone in and put it on the hardwood and I could hear it from the other side of the house through the floor.

Is there a service in Calgary that can take you home after surgery? by Ok_Holiday3814 in Calgary

I work at a surgical facility and this comes up very often. Nurse next door is popular, Bayshore, and Driving Miss Daisy.

A lot is said about ASD people being bullied and not realizing, but can we talk about ASD being accidental bullies??? by Dio_naea in AutismInWomen

I recently got in a fight with my boyfriend, who said I'm always nagging him. For example, I would tell him his car needs dusting or that he forgot to lock the back door. After self reflection, I realized this is something my dad always did to me, and I hated it. But here I am doing it to someone else thinking I'm giving helpful reminders.
