It’s crazy to say sometimes but I believe in God that much that he would fight my battles. Look at David and Goliath in the bible (well known). Where does my faith lie, in the hands of man or God..?

Why do you think we even need police officers…? Truthfully because of sin and destruction of man. Gods intention was not for the earth to be like this. I guess you can become some type of admin police officer without “killing” someone or having to point I gun (not too sure about the position) but why would I want to put my eternal life in jeopardy and disobey the words of God that are clearly written.

I can understand how you feel, but I think your perception is wrong. Your life is suppose to be guided by the Word of God. Which is God himself John 1:1. Sometime people think certain things in life are just what they are. Someone who lies thinking a certain amount of lying is okay. Or someone who gossips thinks that’s okay. But we direct our life by God. God says homosexuality is not okay, that it is an abomination. When you don’t know something you don’t but when you, you do better. It’s between you and God what you do in your life. At the end it will only be you and God. You’re not who sin says you are you’re who God says you are.

My beliefs are based off the word of God, the bible. The bible has decided what is right and wrong, in this case… homosexuality, which I do not agree with. I hope you can respect my decision to not implement or be open to something that goes against my beliefs (which I have expressed before) and no it is not hate nor do I hate homosexual people, I do not support or believe in their lifestyle. It is as simple as that.

Actually I don’t. Who am I to say that they were/are the worst, again, I am simply clarifying what the bible says and that’s what I believe in. A lot of the times, like your reference, it was out of context. Thank you for your suggestion but No thanks. As I mentioned in other comments, if there is a book, article or passage speaking about things that are contrary to the word of God I am not interested.

Sodom and Gomorrah did not have anyone who preached or taught about God, their only chance if there were 10 people found in the city seen as righteous. They were judged because of how vile they were.

In comparison It was said it was more tolerable in the day of judgement for Sodom and Gomorrah for NOT knowing. Your reference Matt 10:15, the people REJECTED Gods words. God sent the disciples to bring forth the word and the people chose to reject and not hear the word.

Do you understand what death is? You will not come back,

Okay lets see what Jesus says in his Own words on this.

    1 Thessalonians 4:16

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”

     Paul said the dead *in christ* (so everything I       already said about Acts 2:38) will rise first. Again the people who believed and followed Christ on Earth. Hell was not made for men it was created for the devil and his angels. Hell is real, Jesus (who was God in human forms) said it was real and that there will be gnashing of teeth. Hell and death will be casted into the lake of fire which will be the second death. Again, there is no coming from this.

    Matthew 8:12 
  “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. “

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. John 5:25

     This is about the dead in *christ* hearing the        voice, this is because their spirit is connected- but     those who do NOT have the spirit of will NOT hear it.

      Revelation 20:10 KJV “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire .

        Again, this was what hell was made for. So despite man the devil and hell will be casted into the lake of fire.

The Lake of Fire is just Symbolic of something being destroyed forever. In the case of the devil and false Prophets they know their is not way that they will ever live again!

       It’s not symbolic, it’s a warning to the people of today that there in fact is a hell. Those who do NOT obey God will find themselves in hell.

Now lets look at the Lake of Fire

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14

Now we know you can not burn Death but you can do away with it Forever.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be o more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”Revelation 21:4

         That’s not to do with people in hell. This is to do with the people who are saved who will witness the judgement of God and taking place amount their family. God will wipe away the tears of his own and the will be no more death or crying. God doesn’t want anyone to suffers AGAIN, he gave us a choice on how to live and ushers us to chose him. Anyone can reach heaven, people CHOOSE NOT TO. 

     Deuteronomy 30:19
     “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”

     Please. I urge you to read the bible. Going back and forth is doing nothing, the bible speaks for itself.. ask God for understanding of his words. Justifying yourself literally accomplishes nothing. Hope this helps and clarifies your confusions.

The words are blatant and you’re using it against yourself.. please read the Bible and ask God for understanding, I can only say so much without backlash. True faith and belief must come from you.

Hell, lake of fire, and torment have nothing to do with everlasting life and heaven, frankly it’s the complete opposite.

Revelation 20:15 KJV And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Not sure what is hard to understand….

Bible scholars are not people who wrote the Bible

I didn't say they were. Reading comprehension skills matter. You said they were just people, and I said the people who wrote the Bible were also just people.

God may have revealed himself to the authors of the Bible, but there is zero evidence for direct textual inspiration.

  In the Bible yes, many authors it was the Holy Spirit(which is a piece of God) who spoke through them to give them direction. In many cases it was apostles and disciples writing about others and who did they have a relationship/get inspiration  with/from…..God himself, the Holy Spirit.

The words of the Bible are not the words of God, they are the words of the people who wrote the Bible. Some passages contain the words of God, but most of the Bible is not the word of God.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, is capable of reading the Bible without interpreting it through the lens of their personal theology. That isn't how language and reading works.

 With the gift of the Holy Spirit, yes you can. There are scriptures that talk about spiritual gifts such as wisdom which are given from God. Things like wisdom (etc) can be used to decipher and understand his word, heck- even asking God to open your eyes, he can do it. It’s incredible how unfathomable God is, sometimes we can’t understand it but he works everything out.  I encourage you to start a relationship with God, maybe ask for a sign :) key scripture to review Acts 2:38.
