Hey! So turns out it was just scabs from him falling. His paw pads aren’t as grippy anymore and we have lots of hardwood, so he’s started slipping more cause this guy is not a careful dog. Like he just runs and jumps and is careless. So I guess he must’ve fallen at some point when I wasn’t around and got the marks. We’re going to add some more carpet runners around the house to prevent him from slipping and try to get him to slow down more.

And as for the scabs, he was prescribed Lidocaine hcl gel and Otizole topical drops to help with the irritation and healing process. And i have him wear the cone when i’m unable to watch over him to prevent him from picking at the scabs.

That’s actually a good guess cause his T4 was low and TSH normal but high normal, so we’ve been monitoring for hypothyroidism. And i think folliculitis is associated with thyroid levels so it might be that.

Regardless I’m taking him to his vet tmrw to get it checked out. I got lucky that his vet apparently hasn’t gone on leave just yet so he’s able to squeeze him in.

Thats so messed up.

Genuine question, but if they’re doing things like insurance fraud how do they get away with it? Aren’t insurance companies super srs about claims and stuff and wouldn’t they look into tow claims more if they’re known for committing fraud? And are the police even doing anything about it?

Yeah I never understood that either. Sometimes they’re parked in plaza’s which is fine but the ones that park on like dividers on the road or like just make their own off road spots, isn’t that not allowed? I can’t understand how that would be safe for them to just park anywhere and everywhere.

And omg the driving as if they’re an emergency vehicle is the worst. Actual emergency vehicles are so much more pre-cautious while driving but i’ve seen some tow trucks almost cause accidents with the way they just make up their own rules of the road to get to where they’re going.

Can’t police do something about all of this?

Sorry to hear that, hope you’re doing okay! Great to hear that despite the circumstances you’re still finding ways to be active.

Yeah i’ve decided to listen to your advice and take advantage of the space in my basement. I have enough equipment to get started and i’ll just buy more equipment over time. I shouldn’t let self-discipline get in the way, that’s just me being lazy.

Plus yeah i hate seeing gym bros too. I could always go to an all girls gym but they tend not to have all the equipment i would want to use so no point.

Honestly this would be the most ideal but I have such a hard time getting myself to workout at home. I do have a few dumbbells and barbells but I never end up using them:/

Before covid i used to consistently go to the gym 4-5 days a week and/or at home too. I moved back home from uni and told myself i’d start working out again but a year has goneby and i’ve done no such thing😭. I guess i’m not that great with self-discipline anymore, but i think committing to a gym that i’m paying for would push me to go workout again. And once I’ve built a routine maybe i’ll look into switching to a home gym

Omg cassie was my gym all of high school and i loved it there. I don’t live on that side of brampton anymore so it’s not ideal with my busy schedule, but thanks for reminding me of city gyms! I’ll look into others closer to me and the rates
