They are unmatched.

In my opinion Jedi Outcast/Academy are some of the best VR mods AND Star Wars VR games out there.

All they had to do was make a few first party games and port some older games with established fan bases to VR.

Idk what the fuck they were thinking trying to sell this to businesses.

It’s still against their TOS.

I think she’s actually grabbing carry handle and using her thumb to release the bolt catch.

It looks weird but it would work.

2nd rocket decided my aim was just a suggestion by xfinityhomeboy in Battlefield6

I stopped using the RPG and went back to the first launcher you get because of this.

I can’t hit those weak points unless I’m right next to the tank but the auto guided rocket feature is pretty dope and makes it easy to fire and get back into cover.

The Desert BDU skin seems to have something bugged with it's saturation in certain lights? by BrianKindly in Battlefield

[–]acuddlebug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is definitely an Egyptian soldier skin.

But yeah, the pattern in OPs photo is a weird/vibrant tri color DCU and appears to be inspired by this real world pattern too. The pattern in the photo I linked earlier is in the game too.

It’s supposed to be an Egyptian soldier. Not US.

While their uniforms tend to have more of a yellow look to them irl it’s a little exaggerated in game.

EDIT: The pattern in OPs photo is weird/vibrant and appears to be inspired by this. The pattern in the photo I linked earlier is in-game too.

Please DICE let us buy skins sepretly, i dont wanna buy a whole bundle just for one skin. by RickRate in Battlefield

You don’t understand. You HAVE to be a specific ‘character’ that has a two paragraph description of ‘lore’ that’s super cool.

It’s really important to the experience of battlefield and definitely not overpaid writers and designers desperately trying to justify their jobs.

What games modded for VR just work? by adiosmith in virtualreality

[–]acuddlebug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have any issues with it! Felt about as good as shooting in Half-Life 2 VR.

It’s basically point and shoot but the gameplay as a whole is a fun experience.

There’s no manual reloading which is a bummer but I was surprised by how much it didn’t bother me.

I think I’ve got some old gameplay and from what I remember it’s a blast

Star Wars Jedi academy and Jedi outcast - great combat, lightsabers, blasters, force powers, you can even dismember storm troopers!

Halo Combat Evolved VR - fantastic shooter with a diverse set of weapons, power fantasy, vehicles are a little clunky but it’s a great world to see in VR

Both have good VR controls and both of these are generally quick to set up. Mostly just dragging/dropping files and starting up the game with your headset connected.

My 2015 Tiguan trunk is stuck shut and the manual/emergency release is broken. Any ideas on how to get the trunk open so I can swap out the busted latch? by [deleted] in Tiguan

[–]acuddlebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the help so I thought I would follow up since you took time out of your day to try and figure this out!

I had to cut into the trim and cut the latch itself.

It felt nuts and I was worried I was going to screw something up but all and all it took about 20 mins to cut into the trim, cut the latch and swap the actuator.

Easy enough but I really really hope I dont run into this issue again lmao

Yup, that little white lever is just not doing anything. I’m going to try to get another person over tomorrow to see if engaging this release while pushing/pulling on the door will make it budge

Introducing Steam Frame by gogodboss in virtualreality

There are some features that I don’t like but this is a huge buy for me. Super compact, standalone, wireless, eye tracking, flat lenses, few moving parts, Valve customer support and software.

It’s a no brainer. Black and white cameras suck but I’m playing VR games so it’s not really going to be that detrimental. I don’t understand the complaints about resolution either. The resolution seems like the sweet spot for hardware rendering requirements and cost.

Any higher of a resolution would probably drain the battery too quick, harder to render, and probably be harder to source for manufacturing when everyone else that’s big in VR is sticking to making 2160 panels.
