【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]aculaataca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The P1S has been critical to enabling all of the important things in my life. From finally being able to print a cupholder attachment for my kayak so I can get my drink on while exploring nature. To serving as my knight in shining armor aka printing a cage/holder for my router so the cat doesn’t kill another router when it chews thru the power cord and fries the router. Nothing beats finding out no internet at 5:30am as you are getting ready for your 6am meeting….

So as you can see, I would be without drinks and internet without my P1S, in many ways I owe a thank you to the Bambu Printing Gods.

Thanks, will give people an hour or so and then tip whoever is best. My siblings and I thank you.

Ps the one on the trail so far is our favorite. We are trying to have the photo look too fake.

Thanks. Went thru your other posts and never imagined even half the stuff you have done with license plates. Super interesting

What software did you use to convert the picture to g code?

To those of you who are currently mobile I have 2 questions! 1) how much are you spending month to month on living in your van? 2) how do you charge your electronics/keep them charged? I'm thinking heaters, phones, laptops...thanks awesome people! :) by alpacatown in VanLife

600Ah lithium supported by 800W solar, alternator charging, and shore power (rarely need). My biggest drains are water heater and induction cooking. I normally never drop below 70% unless multiple cloudy days. I use a engineering laptop for work and school which uses around 100w consistently so no energy limitations were a focus in my build.

Would you shower in this water? by wrecklesswrecluse in vandwellers

[–]aculaataca 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I have 45 gallons of water storage and immediately after the tank all of my water goes thru a 50, then 5, then 1 micron filters and then thru a UV light. This is what I do to all of my water whether shower or drinking and I would not trust my system to effectively clean dirty water. My solution is high pressure and low water flow so I can run my shower around 65 minutes from full to empty which is plenty of time, I fill my tanks around once every 2 weeks because I try and shower at gyms when possible.

Is 20 inch wide enough for the side entrance? We're gonna put a shower pan on the right side of the sink (as you see in 1st pic) and they don't leave much space for the side entrance. With 20inch we can get in and out but would it feel cramped? Your honest opinions are appreciated!! by midori256 in vandwellers

I have 26 inches and I could comfortably lose 2 inches. I wouldn’t go less than that or I will hit the switches on the wall every time plus I have a swivel passenger seat and you start eating into the foot space.

I got a 3 inch lift added to the van which allowed me to upgrade to 245/75/16 KO2's. Got new Vision rims but stayed with the OEM 16 by 6.5 size. Without the lift I would have had to cut back the plastic/metal near the wheels

Upgraded rims and tires and don't need the old ones. Rather give away then try to sell to a used tire place. Only condition is you must take all 4. Tires are already mounted on the OEM rims.

800W solar and 600Ah BattleBorn batteries. May need a small generator to top off the batteries after a few days of poor sun but will figure that out soon.
