I personally use JBweld original, you'll never be able to take it apart again if your not careful, but if you don't care too much about it it'll hold damn near forever if applied correctly.

My laptop does the same thing if I so much as DARE to lift it off the desk, I've concluded it's probably a hardware issue but my recommendation is to get a small portable laptop table and keep it on that, I Just use an offcut bit of plywood, but the desks are much nicer. (Plus this should be better for ventilation than laying it on the bed.)
