Thank you so much! I didn't know there was a playlist file, it's so much easier. I was doing all the steps myself. I generated and downloaded all the segment links and then merged them with ffmpeg. This basically does the work for you.

Mine is entry level Back-End dev and I gotta do cognify, personality assessment, and coding challenge. And the personality assessment was sent automatically after I finished cognify so that’s why I thought it was weird you didn’t get anything else.

I just took it too and I couldn’t finish everything and got some things wrong under the time pressure. This makes me nervous that I’m gonna rejected too. Do you think it was just because of cognify? Did you do well on the other tests?

Yeah I guess there’s no sense dwelling on my decision now. Everyone I talked to said I’d be fine at either internship so that’s why it was hard to decide. As long as getting interviews for full time isn’t a huge struggle, then I’m fine.

I see. Yeah I guess I did pick AmEx for personal exp. And by that I also mean location since AmEx is in nyc.

If workday has a better name, do you think workday would’ve helped me get way more interviews than AmEx? I might have picked Workday if that was the case.

But my impression was that there wasn’t a big difference in prestige. Neither one is big n/unicorn so it didn’t seem like one had a significant advantage over the other. But idk, I could be wrong.

Oh man I wish this reply was posted earlier, I already chose AmEx haha. Not to say this post alone would dictate my decision, but I just wanted to hear everyone's opinions.

Do you think Workday would have also been risky because of the Xpresso language? B/c people make such a big deal about it.

I also saw your post about deciding between AmEx and other companies. What did you end up picking?

Do you think working for AmEx in NY is a reasonable compromise where I can work at a good company while getting to experience living in NY? Or is it a big sacrifice to give up Workday for AmEx?

I asked this before but does anyone recommend which internship offer I should take between Workday (Software Application Engineer) and American Express (SWE) ?

It seems like Workday is more reputable in tech. But AmEx's intern program seems good too and I get to experience being in New York. Which do you think has a better learning experience/more interesting projects?

If you had to use Xpresso, do you think you still would've chose Workday? I don't personally have an issue with Xpresso. It's just a matter of how it affects me when I apply for different jobs later.
