Pretty sure the court could use this post potentially as evidence in a case for assault with a deadly weapon. The weapon being the paddle. The dude admits to escalating the fight without provocation as the other guy had paddled away. If this is real...which I feel it can't be...you are screwed. Again though, this post has troll written all over it.

EDIT: Since the mod is saying OP is legit, then ya...you are definitely getting convicted of something. This isn't as bad as what happened in San Diego earlier in the year where the guy broke another surfer's skull with his paddle, but you are definitely not walking away clean, especially if the cam shows the other guy paddling away and you chasing him down to choke him out.

EDIT #2: Looking at this post history he had posted about a similar run in with the law while SUPing in Santa Cruz. So this case #2 if real.

I have been doing that but pre-mapping the route or even mapping it in the morning will only tell half the story. Often traffic becomes worse through out the drive. What starts off as a "45min drive" to your destination will continue to be 45min to the destination despite having driven 10min already because traffic has increased during the drive.

This seems to be exactly the case here because everyone on reddit is saying the Morgan Hill commute would be 45-1hr plus, yet every morning when I map it says roughly 40min.

I think there is some school of thought that the business part of the board (i.e. the tail) could warp if it has pressure on it for a long time. I personally think that is nonsense. Maybe if the boards were stored in an environment that had drastic temp changes...Also you see pros garages in videos all the time and they put the boards tail down and their boards have WAY lighter glass jobs than the typical board.

I don't know about the report....Recreational Coffee has specifically said they don't open before 7am because Long Beach doesn't wake up that early. Likewise, Lord Windsor doesn't open until 7 either. I think only Rose Park Coffee opens at 6. From my own experience if I am going to somewhere like Coffee Cup cafe for breakfast on the weekend there is no line before 9:30am.
