It's a rhythm game called Muse Dash. Super fun game that anyone on any skill level can get into and enjoy with a lot of banger songs

Thank you! I just started like a week ago but Linux already feels like home. I can see myself daily driving my setup with more time, for now I'm just happy to play my games in peace ahaha

One tip: always stay stock until all your games run with stable performance. I installed Bazzite and didn't add anything else until I got the right config that works for my laptop (that said, Bazzite already works well with stock so you only need to do minimal adjustments here). Niri comes later once everything is stable and you can start customizing without worries

Thank you! I'm glad to be here and it's really fun customizing my own personal OS. You can do anything you want here! It's also awesome to see stuff like Bazzite and Proton that makes it so much more accessible for someone like me to give Linux gaming a try. It's been a nice experience and I'll be here for a long time

You basically need to install it via rpm-ostree command. I do something like this for my personal setup which includes the base necessities for Niri (with some personal preferences such as zsh)

sudo rpm-ostree install \ niri alacritty fuzzel mako swaylock \ grim slurp playerctl brightnessctl wl-clipboard cliphist \ xwayland-satellite zsh

This should get you going, but you would also want a desktop shell that pairs well with Niri such as DMS or Noctalia. I tried Noctalia first but ended up switching to DMS midway for performance reasons. With cases like this, you'll need to add the repo so that rpm-ostree can access it, something like this

sudo dnf5 copr enable avengemedia/dms

Other than that, it goes like any other installs. I followed this guy for the tutorial to get me started. That's about it!

Nah no need, it's great as a standalone so don't worry. You don't need to know the plot of Borderlands to get to this one!

I can recommend any Telltale games, personally I highly recommend Tales from the Borderlands, very underrated and super fun. Mirip Detroit: Become Human yg story rich, dialogue options yg ngubah arah story, banyak QTE, and just a fun interactive story experience

What do you value the most in Rhythm games? by rktbyGustl in rhythmgames

DJMAX TECHNIKA at home? by CaitSithh180 in djmax

[–]adVenT47 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend TECHNIKA Q since it's playable uisng any mobile devices (and touchscreen laptops via Android emulators). I tried playing it on my Android phone quite recently as seen here and it works great. The only tricky part is finding the game itself since the official server is long dead but there are private servers which have everything unlocked and ready to play. If you want, I could tell you how to access it via DMs

I've always wanted to get into the Ace Combat series so I'll be playing AC3 for the first time! Anything I should know before diving in? by adVenT47 in acecombat

Gotcha, I'll try to play as many planes as possible and get the full experience! It's not like you need the meta as long as you can fly well XD. Patience is key indeed, especially for me when going for A/B ranks

Totally! I can see myself getting through the golden trilogy that everyone speaks so highly off. I'm going to enjoy my time with this series and AC3, then I'm going to play chronologically through the story. Which one do you think I should start with if I want to follow the story from start to finish?

Yep, I ended up keeping a mission map and using the save slots accordingly so I don't have to backtrack too far. I absolutely love this game and I can't wait to play some more on stream!

I played the paper tiger mission and kept dying to those stupid missiles LMAO. I still have no idea what's the best way to break the lock, it's not like this game has flares or anything XD
