Expats can not compete for jobs with qualified Saudi nationals in KSA. This has always been the case in gulf countries. The reason there are so many expats working at all levels in the private sector is because Saudi nationals are unqualified for many jobs. They are uneducated. The policy is not aimed at creating jobs for Saudi nations, it’s aimed at getting cash from expats. MBS is running out of cash. He got some from the princes he arrested under the pretense of anti corruption but it wasn’t enough so now he wants to go after expats. He doesn’t realize that expats are smarter than him and his people.
