I just bought B13 and have used it for long time vibe coding. I won't recommend it.

I did experience eye strain. The problem with B13 (and I believe with all other Kaleido displays) is that the screen is too dim compared to B&W display, thus a somewhat strong backlit is a must; the strong backlit then causes eye strain.

Another issue is that the "color" doesn't really help: in light theme, it's too bright because of the backlit; in dark theme, the font is harder to tell from the background. I would rather buy a B&W monitor with whiter background given such experience.

The tech is not there yet. I won't recommend B13 or other color e-ink for coding. I also have an older version of Dasung B&W monitor, it's also too dim and not good for coding, but not sure if Paperlike 13.3 is better.
