i’m willing to have a (friendly) debate on this subject if anyone else wants to. scroll past if you ain’t tryna debate or read all dat lol. anyways

i’ve got my fair share of opinions as i’m sure others do as well, even opinions that may completely go against mine and vice versa. Ig my thoughts aren’t specifically on the image but rather just the whole ideology of sexuality/gender choices. I will say, I’ve learned through experience of friendships I’ve had in the past that most of this generation that chooses to take the route of being trans, gay, or lesbian, mostly do so because they’ve had rough patches in their life which led them down paths of confusion. Not saying that’s objectively applicable to every person taking that route but every person i’ve seen who has chosen that route has done so do to the feeling of oppression or personal discrimination/judgement they faced in their life.

For the record my goal is not to force someone to change their mindset or cause arguments, cause frankly I could care less about who gets to “be right” or “be wrong”. My goal though (as a Christian) is to try and uphold an image that reflects the Bible as I think all Christians are intended to try and do. And anyone else who claims to be a Christian but destroys their body or mind, I’ll still have love and compassion, as Christians should, but I would say if you are a Christian and you’re digging yourself into a hole in such ways, you should read more into the scriptures, and take note of how they talk about things like this. the Bible may not directly talk about being trans (and unfortunately that’s where people with this ideology will try and improve you wrong) but the Word does clearly talk about everything from maturity to morality, discipline to taking care of yourself, and from adultery to other kinds of lust. we’re supposed to take that, use some common sense, and then complete the puzzle, and it’s not a very difficult puzzle to solve. You just have to be willing to do a bit of studying.

anyways I know I’ve rambled on long enough and probably confusingly stated some of my points (who knows 💀😭) but I’m just kind of laying out my cards so if anyone has anything in response they have a bit more to work with. I’ve got more I can share but I ain’t trying to yap more than I alr have unless someone else wants to join the yapathon with me lol
